Chopped smoked salmon, black fungus, furikake and toasted sesame seeds were mixed with Japanese rice to make onigiri. Eat one for a snack; more for a full meal. Smoked salmon and furikake onigiri makes a lovely party dish too!

Cook broccoli florets in salted boiling water, shock with cold water to stop the cooking, then drizzle with miso mayo dressing. A great appetizer or side salad.
Texas-style beef brisket is traditionally slow cooked in a smoker. Ten to fourteen hours. We don’t have a smoker but we have a slow cooker and a bottle of liquid smoke. They did the trick.
